If you love all things Garlic, check out the Stinking Rose (nickname for a garlic clove). My friends and I drove up from San Diego to try this restaurant and we are happy we did. First we tried the Bagna Calda which was garlic, roasted olive oil and butter. We used this on the delicious complimentary garlic bread they bring to the table. With the bread they brought out this fresh garlic pesto style spread that was so good. I got the garlic noodles with shrimp (very good) and calamari which was lightly battered and fryed to perfection. Everything was just so wonderful. The decor was entertaining enough to look around. The place is huge, tastefully dimly lit. We definitely plan on coming back. Our waiter answered our questions and was very knowledgeable, describing the food perfectly. We got our food quickly and we wers off devouring our food! And despite the name, it smelt delightful and stirred our appetites going in! Check it out!

Valet parking is easy and quick. Costs 7.50. The restaurant staff was welcoming, very friendly and attentive. Our waiter came by numerous times to make sure we had everything we needed, and were enjoying our food. We both got the lasagna, and it was delicious! The sauce and texture of the cheese was great, along with the mushrooms, spinach and eggplant. What a great balance of flavors and textures. Very different style of lasagna than I've had other places, but we loved it! Their spin on it is great. The decor is old, but unique and quite fun. Loved the powder room in the ladies room too. Pretty fun! It's been a place on our to go to list, and we're glad we went, and will be back for more lasagna

Parking: No street parking so I utilized their valet service for 7.50 Ambience: Festive Service: The servers were welcoming and knowledgeable with the menu. Food: I ordered The Garlic Prime Rib Slab. You can definitely tell the quality of the prime cut of the meat as it was very tender. Not so flavorful on the inside but it could be because the slab is a 20oz thick meat. The outside flavor was great. I also tried the Sea bass with acini pasta and fried calamari. Both great especially the well cooked and moist sea bass. Overall: I love Garlic and this place was definitely an experience to remember. Almost everything has garlic. It is upscale in price being in Beverly Hills but worthy of trying out.

Garlic lovers rejoice, vampires grieve... From garlic calamari rings, garlic martini to garlic ice cream. The dishes are tasty tho, some have stronger garlic seasoning in them and if you have them first and have the milder flavoured one later, you won't taste it. More of a romantic ambience there with 'tentages' for individual tables for the added privacy. Not much of a crowd when I was there, so service was fast and it was good.

Unique restaurant. Free parking before 4pm. I love garlic so this place hit the spot. I felt like it was more than enough food for the price plus you get complimentary garlic rolls. Super tasty. If you are not a fan of garlic please stay away because EVERYTHING has garlic. I got the chicken and asparagus pasta that was delicious. I definitely recommend for a unique experience whenever you have the time. I will go again!

My wife and I visited this place back in February 2019. The food is absolutely amazing. When you pull up it’s a little confusing the way Valet is set up, but the service was really good. It’s really chilly in there for some reason. I ordered ribs and my wife had the Prime rib, we shared an order of Calamari. We both enjoyed, very flavorful.

The Stinking Rose has been in LA longer than I can remember. I went when I was much younger and then again not too long ago while on vacation in LA. It was as good as I remember and would love to go again. Firstly, you can't help but be impressed with the decor. It's like eating in your own private cabana somewhere in an exotic location. It's unlike any other interior I've seen. Then, while you wait for your food, they bring out the most incredible warm garlic rolls which are just heavenly. So yum. There's plenty on the menu to choose from, and everything sounds delicious. I had a beautiful pasta dish, and wasn't disappointed. The food came out promptly and the staff were friendly and nice. I DO hate how some restaurants provide valet parking (because there's sometimes just not other choice) and then charge the earth. But luckily we got a park right outside. If you're a garlic fan, and love comfort dishes set in a beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance and in a central location in LA, then try the Stinking Rose. It's well priced and a great experience.

Iconic place with fantastic food. A classic Los Angeles staple with a delicious theme . It's a beautiful spot with lots of neat decor. Beware, you will leave smelling like Garlic, yes or yes, but it'll be worth it for the delicious experience. Lots of fun and worth the price. ...
